About the role

CloserHire is partnering with a fast-growing international technology company within the sports betting and iGaming industry to recruit a Sports Account Manager for their team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. This role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with B2B sportsbook clients, acting as a key point of contact between partners and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B sportsbook and iGaming accounts
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and long-term business relationships
• Understand each partner’s objectives, markets, players, and commercial requirements
• Monitor sportsbook performance, betting activity, and key account KPIs
• Identify opportunities to improve account performance, engagement, and revenue
• Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and performance discussions
• Coordinate client requests with Trading, Product, Technology, Risk, and Operations teams
• Support clients with sportsbook products, features, promotions, and operational requirements
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across available products and services
• Support the onboarding and implementation of new clients and products

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Business
• Development, or a similar B2B commercial role
• Experience within sports betting, sportsbook, iGaming, or online gaming is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of sports, betting markets, and sportsbook products
• Excellent relationship-building and client management skills
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth and revenue opportunities
• Comfortable analysing account performance, KPIs, and commercial data
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and client requests simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client management
