• Architect within the banking or financial services sector
• Strong expertise in Snowflake and cloud data architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience delivering regulatory data transformation and reporting initiatives, including BCBS 239
• Strong background in enterprise data modeling, including Data
• Vault and domain-driven design
• Hands-on experience with modern ELT/ETL technologies such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks

CloserHire is partnering with a leading global professional services company to recruit a Snowflake Data Architect for its Cloud Services team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an international team delivering large-scale data transformation programs for the banking and financial services sector. You’ll play a key role in designing enterprise-grade cloud data platforms, enabling regulatory compliance, modern analytics, and data-driven decision-making using cutting-edge cloud technologies.

The work

The role centres on design and implement centralized, snowflake data platforms with standardized data models and reusable data products, architect end-to-end data pipelines using modern cloud data architectures, including, bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, develop scalable, high-performance, and cost-efficient Snowflake solutions, and integrate data quality, metadata, and data lineage into enterprise platform designs.

Pay

5000€

Bulgaria applies a flat 10% income tax, and living costs in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna run well below Western European levels — the take-home goes considerably further than the headline suggests.
