The job itself

CloserHire is partnering with a fast-growing international technology company within the sports betting and iGaming industry to recruit an AI Automation Engineer for their team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role will focus on identifying opportunities to use AI, intelligent automation, and modern integration technologies to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. You will design and implement AI-powered workflows, connect internal and external systems, and help embed generative AI and

Day to day that means design, develop, and maintain AI-powered automation solutions and workflows, identify repetitive or inefficient processes that can be improved through AI and automation, build integrations between internal platforms, APIs, databases, and third-party services, develop solutions using LLMs, generative AI, and AI APIs, build and maintain automated workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms, develop custom scripts and services using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, and integrate AI models into existing products, internal tools, and operational processes.

What you need to bring

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and modern software development practices
• Familiarity with AI concepts such as prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents is highly advantageous
• Experience working with databases and data-processing workflows
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and system integrations
• Automate, or similar
• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power
• Strong knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
